The Fusion Industry Alliance Annual General Meeting 2024 Successfully Convened in Hefei

On December 30, 2024, the Fusion Industry Alliance Annual General Meeting 2024 & the Annual Meeting of CRAFT Users was successfully held in Hefei. The event focused on the development trends of the fusion industry, bringing together wisdom and strength from all parties to foster innovation in China's fusion industry and empower economic growth. Attendees included relevant leaders from the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, Provincial State-Owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, Provincial Department of Civil Affairs, Hefei Municipal Government, Municipal Development and Reform Commission, and Luoyang District Government, as well as representatives from over 170 member entities of the Alliance. The event began with the election of the Council President Member, Executive Council Vice President Members, Council Vice President Members, Secretary-General, and Supervisors of the Alliance.
The event was presided over by Yan Jianwen, Executive Vice Chairman of the Alliance. In his opening speech, Academician Li Jiangang, Chairman of the Alliance, analyzed the current landscape and future trends of fusion development both domestically and internationally, and outlined the Alliance's next-phase objectives and work priorities. Zhang Zhi, Deputy Secretary-General of the Hefei Municipal Government, congratulated the establishment of the Alliance and expressed expectations on behalf of the municipal government. Zhang Jie, Vice Chairman of the Hefei Development and Reform Commission, delivered a presentation on the development of the fusion industry, clarifying support policies in areas such as market, talent, space, finance, services, and ecosystem. Wang Yunfan, Deputy Head of Luoyang District, introduced the planning and construction progress of the fusion industrial park.
The event featured an awarding ceremony for new member entities of the Alliance. After more than a year of development, over 100 new member entities have officially joined the Alliance. A signing ceremony for launched projects was also held, covering key areas such as technology R&D cooperation and industrial demonstration project construction, effectively fostering the transformation of scientific achievements and industrial applications.
The Secretary-General of the Alliance delivered a presentation on the Alliance's developments. Representatives from member entities, including Hefei Metalforming Intelligent Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Erzhong (Deyang) Heavy Equipment Co., Ltd., and Wuxi Paike New Material Technology Co., Ltd., provided updates on their respective operations.
