The Association Secretariat Visited Member Entities in Shanghai to Discuss Industry Development and Cooperation

Date:2025-03-05 Views:543

On March 5, 2025, the Association Secretariat visited ZTT Group Shanghai Superconductor Technology Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Creative Superconductor Technologies Co., Ltd. for in-depth discussions on topics including breakthroughs in superconducting technology, large-scale production, autonomous and controllable production lines, and market applications.

ZTT Superconductor and Shanghai Creative Superconductor are both leading enterprises in China's superconducting technology sector, focusing on the R&D, production, and application of superconducting materials. ZTT Group has established an advanced R&D base for superconducting fault current limiters and superconducting cables in China, providing complete solutions for the development, testing, and cryogenic cooling systems of high-temperature superconducting fault current limiters and high-temperature superconducting cables. As the only domestic tape manufacturer adopting a chemical preparation technical route, Shanghai Creative Superconductor pioneered the trial production and manufacturing of km-length second-generation high-temperature superconducting tapes in China in 2013, becoming the world's second high-tech company capable of producing km-length, chemical-solution-derived high-temperature superconducting tapes.

During the visit, the Secretariat engaed in a discussion to gain detailed insights into the companies' latest progress in superconducting material R&D, production process optimization, and market expansion. Subsequently, the delegation toured corporate exhibition halls and production facilities, conducting on-site inspections of superconducting materials and equipment manufacturing processes. At the conclusion of the visit, the Secretariat expressed gratitude for the support from each company and elaborated on the Association's latest initiatives and development directions for the fusion industry.
