Job Responsibilities:
1. Evaluation of the shielding capabilities of BEST building structures, major shielding components, and systems against fusion neutrons and gamma radiation;
2. Design of measurement and monitoring schemes for fusion neutrons, gamma radiation, surface radioactive contamination, and electromagnetic radiation;
3. Analysis and evaluation of radiation exposure doses for personnel;
4. Analysis and evaluation of the environmental impact of radioactive releases.
Qualifications:
1. Master's degree or higher in Nuclear Engineering, Nuclear Chemical Engineering, Radiochemistry, or related disciplines;
2. Familiarity with the radiation characteristics of fusion neutrons, gamma rays, beta particles, and other radiation types, with knowledge of effective protective measures;
3. Proficiency in common shielding calculation methods, radiation field computation techniques, and related tools.
