On the afternoon of December 8, 2023, the 2023 Annual Ceremony for Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Hefei, themed "New Quality Productive Forces, New Driving Forces of the Era" was held at the Zhong'an Chuanggu Global Roadshow Center in Hefei High-Tech Zone. Attendees included Luo Yunfeng, Deputy Secretary of the Hefei Municipal Party Committee and Mayor; Fu Yao, Standing Committee Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC); Song Daojun, Secretary of Party Working Committee and Director of the Administrative Committee of Hefei High-Tech Zone; Wu Haifeng, Party Leadership Group Member and Deputy Director General of the Department of Science and Technology of Anhui Province; Fan Jin, Director General of the Hefei Science and Technology Bureau; as well as representatives from relevant provincial and municipal departments, member entities of the Anhui High-Quality Development Alliance for National High-Tech Zones, and entrepreneurs.
The grand event was guided by the Department of Science and Technology of Anhui Province, the Anhui Provincial Development and Reform Commission, and the Hefei Municipal People's Government; organized by the Administrative Committee of the Hefei High-Tech Industrial Development Zone; and co-organized by the Science and Technology Bureau of the Hefei High-Tech Industrial Development Zone, Grand Union of Innovation Service Platform (Anhui Province) Co., Ltd., and the Greatwall Strategy Consultants. Luo Yunfeng, Deputy Secretary of the Hefei Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, delivered a speech.
Dang Hao, Partner and Anhui Business Director of Greatwall Strategy Consultants, released the "2023 High-Growth Enterprises Annual Report" during the ceremony. According to the report, a total of 1,391 high-growth enterprises were selected in 2023, setting a new record in number. These enterprises, accounting for 1.8% of the total in the region, contributed 21.9% of the total operating revenue and 25.8% of the tax income. Following the report release, Wu Haifeng, Party Leadership Group Member and Deputy Director General of the Department of Science and Technology of Anhui Province, Fu Yao, Standing Committee Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of the USTC, and other provincial and municipal leaders awarded and recognized representatives of the 35 high-growth enterprises of 2023, including Fusion Energy Tech and Xunfei Healthcare Technology Co., Ltd.
